one of the project entails the construction of three (3) homes
- 3658 Frow Ave ; completed,
- 3850 Washington Ave ; Under contract by bank approved buyer, completion date October, 2005
- 3648 Oak Ave ; Prospective buyer selected and contracted.
- Village West Homes Phase ll- Affordable single family, infill homes Phase ll of the project entails the construction of ten (10) homes. This project has thirty + pre-approved prospective buyers. City of Miami Commission has passed a resolution to convey available lots/properties in the Coconut Grove target area to the Collaborative; additional lots/properties have also been requested from the Miami Dade Housing Agency.
- Village West Streetscape Off-street Parking Project -Is a private /public sector initiative coordinated and managed by the Collaborative. Construction is underway, for a 27 car surface-parking facility. Completion date September, 2005
- Grand Avenue Streetscape Revitalization Project -After successfully advocating for the project’s implementation, Coconut Grove Collaborative, Inc. now serves as its official ombudsman on behalf of the community. The project management functions are housed in the Collaborative offices including the City of Miami and Horizon Construction, Inc Project Managers. Additionally in collaboration with Accion USA and Pointe Bank, the Collaborative has developed an entry-level entrepreneurial program involving the placement of retail Kiosks along Grand Avenue.

- Grand Avenue Kiosk Project - To provide entry-level entrepreneurship opportunities for area residents and disadvantaged minorities. Support the creation a “critical mass” of businesses and promote Coconut Grove Village West as a destination that will benefit retail and business development. Create a distinctive signature for reflecting the historic and culture of the Village West and the Island District corridor. Further to promote light, color, ambience and a sense of security.
- Grand Plaza Project-Coconut Grove Collaborative has executed a master lease for a 14 unit building with 2500 sq. ft. of retail space on the first level. The plans entail the development and leasing of eight (8) 500 sq. ft. “boutique offices” and 3,500 additional sq. ft. of retail space
- CDE (Community Development Enterprise) - The Community Development Financial Institutions Fund of the United States Department of the Treasury has certified Coconut Grove Collaborative, Inc. as a Community Development Entity (a “CDE”).
- Coconut Grove Community Land Trust, inc. - requested that the Collaborative join in its efforts to further its initiatives to preserve Coconut Grove properties for affordable housing. Collaborative President/CEO was appointed to its board
